We can't promise Patrick Swayze or Keith Brymer Jones but the fabulous Jane from Little Mouse Pottery will be showing you the fun of the pottery wheel and how to hand-build clay projects of your choice.  But beware you may become addicted!!

 

Join us for a 3-hour pottery adventure where you'll spin, shape, and sculpt your own masterpieces! Whether you're a total newbie or just need a refresher, this workshop is perfect for you.

We'll kick things off with a quick demo on how to conquer the pottery wheel - watch as lumps of clay transform into beautiful vessels before your eyes. Then, it's your turn to jump in and give it a whirl! Feel the excitement as you create your own pottery pieces using both the wheel and hand-building techniques.

 

But wait, there's more! Get creative with decorating your pieces using an array of tools, stamps, and colourful glazes or come back in a few weeks and use our underglazes for a more vibrant colour - just an extra £10!  Once you're happy with your clay creations, leave them with us to dry and fire in our kilns, and soon you'll have your very own handcrafted treasures to show off!

This event promises to be fun and engaging for all participants!  Here are some important details to keep in mind:

• Minimum Age: Participants must be at least 10 years old.

• Supervision Requirement: All participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult.

• Dress Code: Working with clay can be messy, so we suggest wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Aprons are provided.
